No official release-processing hours were published, so call before visiting or planning a pickup. The county website's general hours must not be assumed to be jail release hours.

The county accepts Right-to-Know requests by email, fax, mail, or in person. Ask for a specific existing booking, release, transfer, or photograph record. The county publishes general courthouse hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; verify before travel.
Sheriff Wayne Emerick Jr.'s office is on the first floor of the Bedford County Courthouse, 200 S. Juliana Street, Bedford, PA 15522; (814) 623-2910; fax (814) 623-2940; wemerick@bedfordcountypa.org. The Sheriff performs transport and court duties but is not identified as the BCCF operator or release-record custodian.
